Photos: 2020 Toyota Supra

After a 17 year hiatus, the Toyota Supra is back. Dawning a new look and modern technology, the 5th generation Supra shares very little with its other Toyota siblings. In fact you’ll find quite a few BMW badges on it if you look closely because it shares most of its components with the all-new BMW Z4.

Like the Z4, the Toyota Supra is powered by a 3.0L Inline-6 turbocharged engine producing 335hp and 365 lb-ft of torque. Power gets delivered to an 8-speed automatic and further to the back wheels. There have been rumors that the Supra may be a hybrid but for now, it’s still powered by more traditional means.

Hopefully I’ll be able to get my hands on one for a test drive and review but for now, enjoy the pictures.

Thank you to West Coast Toyota for the opportunity to photograph it. www.WestCoastToyota.com

  1. Sorry guys this is not a Supra….its just la glorified Z4. I’ve owned the real Supras since 81 onward till 97….. and I still have the 97, and will never get rid of it. The real Supra enthusiasts have waited over 17 years for this legendary thoroubred to rise from the ashes and finally announce…….the King is back. Toyota should have used the last platform production and improved on it with modern high performance parts up till present……….making this long awaited car capable of making the GT-R go hide under a rock, and able to give American muscle a run for their money.
