The Camaro ZL1 recipe is very simple. Take the Camaro body and stuff the biggest engine that General motors makes at the time. The engine in question is the Supercharged LT4 6.2L V8 from the Corvette Z06. 650hp and 650 lb-ft of torque. But it’s not all about the power. The new Camaro platform is is far better than the generations before it, not just in a straight line, but also around corners. This new ZL1 is so good around corners that it beat the previous generation’s Nurburgring lap record by over 11 seconds. Not only that, it’s also faster than the McLaren 650S, Porsche 911 GT2, and even the 806hp Koenigsegg CCX. Unfortunately no review of this car but enjoy the pictures.
