Mercedes has introduced the new 2023 all electric AMG EQE SUV. The EQE is available in 2 different trims for the Canadian market: 350 4Matic and 500 4Matic each powered by a 90.6-kWh battery. The American market will also get the 350+. The EQE 350 4Matic, EQE 500 4Matic and AMG were designed to be one of the greatest performing electric vehicles and this is due to the dual motor and all-wheel drive powertrain. The 350 + will have a rear single motor and 288hp. The 350 4Matic comes equipped with dual motor and 288 hp but with greater torque. The 500 4Matic is also equipped with dual motor and 536 hp. If you are looking for more power, then the AMG EQE is the one to wait for which is equipped with dual motor and 617 hp and 701lb-ft of torque. If you opt for the dynamic plus package it will offer 677hp and 738lb-ft. 0 to 60mph or 96km/h is done in about 3.4 seconds.
The new AMG EQE SUV has a very sporty interior look and feel to it like any AMG vehicle. It comes standard with a 12.8in central portrait display and 12.3in instrument panel under a single glass cover. It also has the MBUX Hyperscreen as an option. The AMG EQE comes with bolstered seats as it is an AMG and is meant for enthusiastic driving. Throughout the cabin, you will see the AMG logo displayed, have the options of various colors to choose from for the ambient lighting and a special AMG sound feature. This new AMG EQE is a 5-seater but offers generous amount of space for passengers and trunk space.
The 2024 Mercedes AMG EQE SUV is equipped with either 20in or 21in wheels, a unique grille compared to the other trims, and rear diffuser. It also comes standard with air suspension installed and is the same for all trim levels.
Pricing has not yet been released but as an AMG and EV, it can easily be in the six figures or close to it. The non-AMG EQE SUV is to be released in 2023 and the AMG EQE SUV to be released in late 2023.
