During July 10-13th, I was invited to photograph the Mobil 1 United Sports Car Grand Prix from the Canadian Tire Motorsports Park (aka Mosport) near Toronto. The 4 day event also featured other championship series such as the Porsche GT3 Cup, Mazda MX-5 Cup, and Continental Tire Sports Car Championship to name a few. This TUDOR Championship combines Daytona Prototype cars with American LeMans Series cars and this particular weekend’s race was 2 hours and 45 minutes long. This part 1 post consists of Friday’s practice and Saturday’s Qualifying. Enjoy.
